Brad Kearns, aka DadMum, and his wife Sarah, aka Mrs. DadMum, have been together for 10 years. They decided to get real about full-time parenting to show people that being a stay-at-home mom isn’t easier than being a working dad.
Together they raise their three children and document their parenting journey on social media. Kearns told Bored Panda that he currently works as a business development lead and a workforce planner. He said that his job is nothing compared to the daily responsibilities of his stay-at-home wife.
He said that “comparison is the thief of joy. Especially when it comes to ‘stay at home vs go to work.’ Everybody with kids works hard whether they receive a payslip or not.”
His post quickly went viral with many women praising him for acknowledging a mother’s hard work.
