Instagram is a place where everyone shares gorgeous photos of their perfect lives. Belgian Instagrammer Hannes Coudenys, however, decided to do something completely different – he’s documenting a somewhat uglier side of the world.
In 2012, this Belgian guy made an Instagram account named “Ugly Belgian Houses”, where he shares photos of houses he found in his country that are not so beautiful. In fact, they’re so weird that it’s hilarious. Over the years, he’s collected more than 1,400 images of these architecture fails and his account has gone viral. At the moment, he’s got more than 56k followers.
While the people who follow his work must be amused by these pictures, not everyone is happy with Coudenys’s peculiar hobby.
“I would say 90 per cent of Belgians are mad at me. I get a lot of hate mail and letters from lawyers”, the blogger once said.
